REACH, RoHS, waste and conflict minerals
SEIKOM-Electronic is committed to protecting people and the environment by avoiding hazardous substances in our products. We source responsibly and optimize our waste, sorting and recycling processes whenever possible.
We comply with local and international requirements for chemicals, waste and procurement.
REACH
SEIKOM-Electronic complies with the requirements of the EU Regulation EC 1907/2006 with amendments, REACH (Registration, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals).
We are constantly working with our suppliers to keep track of the chemicals contained in our products.
As part of a sustainable strategy, we monitor the status of REACH and Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in components. We will act in accordance with Regulation EC 1907/2006 if SVHC are used in concentrations above the specified limits.
RoHS3
SEIKOM-Electronic complies with the requirements of RoHS3, i.e. the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS2) with amendments, including Directive 2015/863/EU (RoHS3).
In general, our products fall under category 9: Monitoring and control instruments.
While we manufacture spare parts for products that were launched on the market before 2006 and are exempt from the RoHS Directive, we continue to adapt our processes, materials, etc. to the RoHS Directive.
WEEE
SEIKOM-Electronic meets the requirements of the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive), which prescribes the collection and recycling of all types of electronic waste and requires manufacturers to collect and dispose of electronic waste.\
We fulfill our obligations through our cooperation with BellandVision and are registered with LUCID (Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister) under the registration number DE594 585 250 222 9.
