Why use a hygrostat?

In contrast to temperature perception, we humans do not have a pronounced sensitivity to changes in humidity. Although we notice differences in temperature relatively quickly, we do not immediately recognize when the humidity rises or falls. However, such an imbalance in humidity can affect our health. It is therefore important to maintain an optimum humidity level of 40 % to 60 %. This is where a hygrostat comes into play.
